Finding your WHY

“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” -Eleanor Roosevelt

So what exactly does this mean? In my years of studying successful people I found it interesting that several of them mention the same thing. They may have explained it in different ways, but the concept is the same. What is your why? As I began to research this in more detail I came to realize that once you find your WHY, you are virtually unstoppable.

It’s been said if you find your WHY you’ll discover the HOW. But the problem seems to be determining what that is. Have you ever asked yourself, “What is that one thing that would inspire me to act in spite of fear, challenge or potential barriers?” When I ask the question “What is your Why?” I often hear “I want to buy a new car, buy a new house, and pay off my debt.” These are great goals, but they are not big enough to keep you going when things get tough. To find your “WHY” you need to dig deeper. You need to find that thing that burns inside of you. What do you really want out of life? What is the most important thing(s) to you? What kind of money do you want to make? If you could go anywhere in the world, where would that be? How will you get there? It’s often the dream you are silently afraid of.

So when you begin to try to find your “WHY”, ask yourself these questions. Does your company, product or service make you believe that what you desire is possible? Does is cause you to believe for the first time in the “why worthy of your life?” Is it the fuel that makes you unstoppable? Is it providing the result you desire? The why worthy of life is often who you become. It’s your characteristics, your values, and your purpose. Your inner joy. So if you’re stuck in your business or it’s not giving you what you truly desire, I encourage you to find your WHY and begin the steps towards fulfilling those dreams. What you may discover is what really matters in life. This could take to you to that place of success or move you into that next level that you’ve been dreaming of.

One of my favorite sayings from Suzan Hart. “It is my belief that those women who achieve success have an inspiration that fuels their actions and creates such a desire within them that failure is not an option.”

To your success –

Amy
